Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary has been a leading institution of higher education in Hungary and central Europe in the last 250 years. The conductor training programme is provided at the András Pető Faculty of prestigious Semmelweis University.

The conductor is a professional who provides development for inclusion and re-socialisation for children with cerebral palsy, or after brain injuries, or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Specialised for adult rehabilitation with neurodegenerative diseases, such as Multiple Scleroses, Parkinson’s diseases, or condition after Stroke, or brain injuries The specialists work in conductor’s team in CE centres, in rehabilitation centres or hospitals, as part of multidisciplinary teams in education institutions including children with special needs, etc.

Training time: 4 years, 8 semesters. This education programme is unique because the professional practice starts right at the beginning parallel with theory education. Theory subjects based on the present scientific knowledge of: Anatomy, Neurology, Neuropsychology, Orthopaedics, Healthcare, Psychology and Development Psychology, Rehabilitation, Education Science, Conductive Education, etc.

Scholarships: The Hungarian Government provides different scholarships to support those people who want to study in Hungary such as Stipendium Hungaricum for participating in education on BA, MA, and PhD level.
